I had some promotional material made with my new logo from Dave Thompson with Bay Wide Specialties informed me that there was no way for anyone to contact me from this site. So I had a contact form added by my web guy and then I added a Google Voice widget that calls my phone. The widget is great because it gives me control of my calls and eliminates a lot of spam. If I put my phone number on the site I would get text and calls from spammers.

Well thats what they told me when I called them but all that web lingo is greek to me. I know mobile phones but not websites and computer programs. They told me they sent a email with the instructions how to correct it and it was easy to do (NOT).
This is what the email said:

After getting off the phone and reading this email I had to go to the online chat for help with what they wanted me to do. They are in the process of fixing the problem but they can’t tell me what caused the problem. I stll think blogs and a lot of web stuff is still to complicated for the average person and it seems you need a web designers degree to keep up with everything.

It took me days to get this site back up. I have been on the phone with Hostgator support 5 times trying to accomplish what they wanted and I did not realized all my sites hosted with them where down.
