This is hard for me to admit because I have in the past talk bad about this brand but the 8GB Apple iPhone 4 is the best smartphone under $100. The Apple iPhone 4 8GB model goes for the bargain price of $99.99. First of all the iPhone is one of the easiest Smartphones for that first time Smartphone buyer. If you need help you can call a friend with a iPhone they can tell you how to navigate through the functions not like the Android Smartphones that the navigation is different from each manufacturer and most models. Second the 5 megapixel camera on the Apple iPhone 4 takes better pictures than all my 8 megapixel Android phones, iPhone 4 and 4S have great cameras. Third you can find anykind of accessory everywhere for the iPhone. Fourth you will always be cool owning a Apple iPhone.

Verizon Wireless iPhone 4

Apple iPhone 4 8GB

The iPhone has over 600,000 applications you can download to it. Apple makes it easy to sync your contacts and media with iTunes by plugin your device into your computer or now using the Cloud service which does it wireless. The Verizon Wireless iPhone does not have the same reception issue with the antenna that at&t has.

Verizon Wireless shared data plans

posted by Admin 5:20 PM

Verizon Wireless plans to have shared data plans for the family. Great news for a family of 5 all with smarthphones. Currently each line carrying a smartphone requires a data package of $30 for 2 GB of data. So if I have 5 lines on my family plan with data that’s an extra $150 a month.
Now in the coming days we will be able to pick a bucket of data and all lines can share the data.

If  Verizon Wireless uses the same packages as they have now 5 lines can share 2 GB for $30, 5 GB for $50 or 10 GB for $80. That’s a huge saving over the current data plans. The overage I think will still be $10 a GB over the alloted amount. I also think they will include simple phones on the family pan that also can share in this bucket of data.

I don’t recommend the $30 data package for more than 3 smarthphones unless you are using a Blackberry or you know that this package will cover your needs. You can always check your usage online with an Verizon Wireless usage application or by dialing #data (#3282) send from your device.

The promo data plan for simple phones ends September 30th it was extended another monthst and I think right after that the shared data plans will be offered.

Verizon Wireless data package for the Apple iPhone

The only choice for the Apple iPhone with data is the $29.99 unlimited data. Verizon Wireless is ending the $15 150MB data package on 1/30/11 and the only choice for Smartphones will be the unlimited package.  Verizon will have a new package for simple phones and that will be $10 for 75MB or the simple phones can choose the $29.99 unlimited data package.

Smartphones on Verizon will only have the $29.99 option for data. The introduction of the Apple iPhone was probably a significant factor on this decision.

That $15 150 MB data package was great for most Blackberry users.  If you want to save money on your monthly bill because you don’t use much data, change your plan before 1/30/11 and that plan will be grandfather in. I would recommend any Blackberry user to check there data usage and change now.

There is also another great deal being lost because of this data change. The Palm Pixi can add the $15 data package and that also includes 5 GB of hot spot data on the Palm Pixi.

Get the Palm Pixi now!

I wonder if you get a smartphone before the $15 data package ends on 1/30/11 and switch to the Apple iPhone within the 14 day exchange policy if you can keep the $15 data package?

Apple has redesigned the iPhone 4′s antennas for Verizon, perhaps to foil the “death grip” problem that roiled AT&T customers last summer, an expert said today.

Apple iPhone on Verizon Wireless

On 1/11/11 at 11am Verizon Wireless and Apple will announce the arrival of the legendary Apple iPhone on the Verizon Wireless network. The iPhone will have the LTE radio included so 4G speed is included.
The phone will go on sale in February and hopefully inventory of this device wont be like it was when at&t released each new version.
I have no news if it will only be carried in corporate stores. I am hoping Apple learnt if the want to sell more phones let indirect have it.
The problem with people unlocking and shipping the phone out of the country should not be an issue but who knows we do have other CDMA carriers around the world.

My prediction on twitter in December was correct. @mobilewiseguy I predict Verizon Wireless will get the Apple iPhone sometime around the end of january or February because (cont)

make money referring new at&t customers

posted by Admin 10:34 AM

A few months ago I began marketing for new at&t customers by using the at&t referral rewards. This is money just for referring a new at&t customer. First wanted to know all the details of this referral program so I signed up myself and started referring. It took me about three months to make $600, that’s the yearly limit from referrals. Referrals could be for any at&t new service for example U-Verse, DSL, Home phone, Cell phone service and DirecTV. The money is paid on Visa reward cards, which can be spent anywhere Visa is accepted. I paid my U-Verse, got gas, paid my Verizon Wireless bill, Sprint bill and used it at a restaurant. (When using the reward cards at a restaurant it automatically adds the tip on it so be aware of that.)
Wireless from AT&T
The only prerequisite for someone to be able to get the reward cards for referring new at&t customers is you must have a at&t service in you name. I have U-Verse and a cell phone with at&t. My girlfriend only has a cell phone service with at&t and she is already spending her reward cards.

When you refer someone you must refer the customer and enter the new billing account number from the service they got from at&t to qualify for the referral. This is where I come in I can get all at&t services for a customer and I will help you with the referral process. It does not matter where they get the at&t service from as long as you refer the customer before the order new at&t service.

AT&T canceled my cell phone demo line

posted by Admin 9:03 AM
Thursday, July 8, 2010

I had a cell phone with AT&T since the Bellsouth Mobility days and earlier this year I transferred my number to an ANR line. That is a $20 a month plan for agents and employees of AT&T. I was worried a little because I do not like anyone having control of my number. I guess I should have gone with my instincts, they canceled my line without warning.
Before I had switch ANR line I had a grandfather plan with unlimited incoming calls and unlimited data. When I logged into my account I saw this message that I copied and pasted below. It says non-payment but the bill is not due for another week.  By the way it was AT&T that spelled canceled wrong below, I just copied from the website and pasted.

CURTIS MATTHEWS Your account has been restricted because your AT&T service is suspended due to non-payment or cancelled. I know I could port my number out or change to a current plan on AT&T but I have numerous mobile phones with Sprint, Verizon and T-Mobile which I pay very little and I do not want to change those numbers.
